Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), the allotment of buildings in the premises of Bareilly Development Authority was done through lottery. In this, the faces of the beneficiaries waiting for the housing in large numbers blossomed after getting the keys of the buildings.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the poor through a private organization nominated by BDA, 1500 buildings are being built on village Kutanda, Purnapur, Bisalpur Road, out of which 658 buildings have been allotted earlier.
Allotment of 196 buildings was done through draw. Similarly, 480 buildings are being constructed in village Ghanghora Pipariya, out of which the remaining 322 buildings were allotted through draw. Similarly, another organization is constructing 364 buildings in village Hamaripur, out of which 79 buildings have been allotted through draw. Thus a total of 597 buildings were allotted. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) is currently applicable only till the year 2022.
At the time of the draw, people from various departments including Secretary Yogendra Kumar, Superintending Engineer BDA Rajiv Dixit, in-charge Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) Ashu Mittal, Executive Engineer were present.

प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना (शहरी) के तहत गुरुवार को बरेली विकास प्राधिकरण के प्रांगण में भवनों का आवंटन लॉटरी के माध्मय से किया गया। इसमें बड़ी संख्या में आवास का इंतजार कर रहे लाभार्थियों के चेहरे भवनों की चाबी पाकर खिल उठे।
बीडीए से नामित एक निजी संस्था के माध्यम से गरीबों के लिए प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना के तहत 1500 भवन गांव कुआंटांडा, पुरनापुर, बीसलपुर रोड पर बनाये जा रहे हैं, जिसमें से 658 भवनों का आवंटन पूर्व में किया जा चुका है।
196 भवनों का आवंटन ड्रा के माध्यम से किया गया। इसी तरह गांव घनघोरा पिपरिया में 480 भवन बनाये जा रहे हैं, जिसमें से आवंटन के लिए अवशेष 322 भवनों का ड्रा के माध्मय से आवंटन किया गया। इसी तरह एक और संस्था गांव हमरीपुर में 364 भवन बना रही है, जिसमें से 79 भवनों का आवंटन ड्रा के माध्यम से किया गया है। इस प्रकार कुल 597 भवनों का आवंटन किया गया। प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना (शहरी) वर्तमान में वर्ष 2022 तक ही लागू है।
इसके दृष्टिगत प्राधिकरण द्वारा अवशेष भवनों का शीघ्र आवंटन किया जाएगा। वर्तमान में एक संस्था द्वारा अवशेष भवनों के लिए योजना का प्रकाशन कर दिया गया है। ड्रा के समय सचिव योगेन्द्र कुमार, अधीक्षण अभियंता बीडीए राजीव दीक्षित, प्रभारी प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना (शहरी) आशु मित्तल अधिशासी अभियन्ता सहित कई विभागों के लोग मौजूद रहे।
